โญ๏ธ January round-upFor me, January has been a month of settling back into routine. Often we can set big goals and new years resolutions and by the end of January are left feeling unmotivated and disappointed if it's not quite going to plan. This year I have been embracing slowing down and enjoying doing what I can, when I can during an unexpectedly busy month. Since we last spoke, I have been focusing on my personal yoga practice and continuing with the Yoga with Adriene 30-day Flow series - I didn't make it to my mat everyday but I've reached day 27 and hope to finish the last few days this week! I also taught an online workshop on how to use Props in your yoga practice. It was an interactive session, exploring different ways you can support, adapt and deepen your practice, with plenty of time to try it out and ask questions. I'll be running this workshop again in Liverpool this year, more details coming soon! ๐ฟ Morning movementAre you looking to bring more movement and mindfulness into February? Why not join me for a gentle morning yoga? Classes are Mondays & Wednesdays, 8.00-8.30am on zoom. This month classes will again be donation-based (link to donate here), where you can choose what you pay with a recommended amount of ยฃ2 per class.
โ ๐ Celebrate loveAs we welcome in February, it can be the perfect time to set an intention, for the week, the month or even the rest of the year. With Valentine's day around the corner it can be a month centred around love, a theme we will bring into our classes this month. Maybe take a moment to reflect: how can you show yourself some love this month? I was back to work on Wednesday and jumped straight back in with a busy few days.
